Yes. Blake Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue in Essex, meaning the entire venue — including the barns, gardens, and grounds — is yours for the duration of your wedding day. There are no other weddings or events taking place, giving you complete privacy and a truly personalised wedding experience.
Blake Hall wedding venue in Ongar, Essex can accommodate up to 150 guests for your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast, with space for up to 200 guests in the evening. Our beautifully restored barns and landscaped gardens allow your guests to move comfortably throughout the day.
Yes — there is ample on-site parking available for guests.
The spacious surroundings of the Barns offer ample opportunity for guests to stretch their legs. In the interest of safety and timings, guests are requested to remain within this area. Yes. Blake Hall offers both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony options. Couples may choose a romantic outdoor ceremony under the canopy of the Saddlery, or an indoor ceremony within our Hay Barn. Absolutely! Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome to join your ceremony and feature in your wedding photos.
Blake Hall does not host weddings during January or February, but we are open for viewings, show rounds, and planning meetings during these months.

Spring weddings at Blake Hall are a real treat, with the sixty acres of grounds coming back to life around you. The Barns are as warm and welcoming as ever, while the gardens and terraces begin to open up as the season takes hold.
