Dating back to the 17th century, the Essex Barn is the centrepiece of the celebration at Blake Hall. Carefully restored to preserve its historic character while offering every modern comfort, it provides the perfect setting for both the wedding breakfast and the evening party that follows.
The banqueting space, dance floor and licensed bar all sit under one magnificent roof, keeping everyone together from the first speech to the last song. With capacity for up to 200 evening guests, there’s plenty of room to dance, mingle and celebrate properly.

The ceremony takes place later in the afternoon, followed by drinks, music and a vibrant evening reception in the Essex Barn. All the magic, with a little more sleep beforehand.
